Slagthuset invites you to a cracking night of dancing at Saluhallen, where dancing and great company take centre stage! 10 October sees the premiere of Dans P\u00e5 Slagthuset, with Brandsta City Sl\u00e4ckers, Voize and Matz Bladhs taking to the stage.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

Brandsta City Fire Extinguishers<\/strong><\/strong>
Brandsta City Sl\u00e4ckers \u2013 Glenn Borgkvist, Mats Nilsson, Ulf Johansson, Olle \u00d6stberg and Tom B\u00f6rjesson \u2013 are the band who took Sweden by storm by combining the spirit of the emergency services with the energy of rock music and a flair for engaging the audience that has become their trademark. With their iconic firefighter\u2019s uniforms, a twinkle in their eyes and a musical passion that never fades, they have become one of the country\u2019s most beloved live bands.<\/p>\n

Brandsta City Sl\u00e4ckers made a huge splash at the 2002 Melodifestivalen with the song \u201cKom o ta mig\u201d, which also saw the birth of the famous \u201cBrandsta clap\u201d. This was followed by the biggest summer tour of the year. Fifteen new attendance records were set in Sweden during that tour. This year, they made a comeback in the Melodifestivalen with the song \u201cRakt in i elden\u201d, which was later reworked into the World Cup hit \u201cAll in f\u00f6r Sverige\u201d and was welcomed with open arms by the Swedish public! In addition to their appearance in Melodifestivalen, their albums have achieved both Gold and Platinum status, and the band topped the Svensktoppen chart for 19 consecutive weeks.<\/p>\n

Voize<\/strong><\/strong>
Voize was formed in 2011 and has, for the most part, been based in Malm\u00f6 throughout its existence, but with no members from there, they are now based in Hj\u00e4rup. In 2013, Voize competed in \u201cBingolotto\u2019s Dansbandskamp\u201d and the Swedish public voted the band all the way to the final. In the autumn of 2013, Voize released their first album, \u201cDu l\u00e4rde mig \u00e4lska\u201d. The album received favourable reviews from both critics and audiences across the country and made it onto the Swedish Albums Chart alongside Paul McCartney and Europe. Voize stands for high quality, danceability and joy. In 2020, their repertoire shifted towards a slightly more \u201cmature\u201d style, or as Voize themselves like to describe it: \u201cWe play dance music that everyone can dance and have fun to.\u201d<\/p>\n

Matz Bladh\u2019s<\/strong><\/strong>
With over 50 years on stage, more than 8,000 performances across the Nordic region and over 1 million records sold, \u201cMatz Bladhs\u201d are among the absolute elite of the dance band scene. The band has enjoyed great success on the Svensktoppen chart, among others, with no fewer than 16 songs on the chart.<\/p>\n
