On 23 October, they will take to the stage at Slagthusets Teater with the musical show \u201c<\/strong><\/strong><i><strong><strong>Wanting to but not being able to \u2013 The story of Gunnar, Axel and Lars-Erik Nyman<\/strong><\/strong><\/i><strong><strong>\u201d.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/slagthuset.se\/events\/torsson-50-ar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><strong>TICKETS<\/strong><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>-\u00a0<i><em>We\u2019ve told loads of stories in our songs. To be honest, they don\u2019t really tie in with one another, so now we\u2019ve tried to take a more cohesive approach\u2026<\/em><\/i><\/p>\n<p>Torsson, one of our oldest and most beloved rock bands, are known for songs such as \u2018Klippans centrum\u2019, \u2018Det spelades b\u00e4ttre boll\u2019, \u2018Jag minns en gammal bil\u2019, \u2018\u00d6resundstwist\u2019, \u2018Volleyboll-Molly\u2019 and many other classics. This year, they are celebrating their 50th anniversary as a band and are therefore embarking on a major tour together with the actor Per Lasson to perform the musical \u201c<i><em>Wanting to but not being able to \u2013 The story of Gunnar, Axel and Lars-Erik Nyman<\/em><\/i>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>It has now been 50 years since Det fj\u00e4rde b\u00e4sta bandet i Lund played their first concert at Lilla Teatern, in Lund itself. \u2018Att vilja men inte kunna\u2019 is a play on the title of the band\u2019s first album from 1980, which is called \u2018Att kunna men inte vilja\u2019. The narrative of the show is based on a fascinating story written by Torsson\u2019s frontman, singer and songwriter, Bo \u00c5kerstr\u00f6m. It is a story that weaves together many of Torsson\u2019s songs and lyrics, centred around the lives of three individuals.<\/p>\n<p>The musical performance is a two-act event. Per Lasson narrates the story and Torsson performs his classic songs, as well as several new songs composed especially for this occasion. All is accompanied by images on a big screen.
