Malm\u00f6 Citysamverkan was established in 1995 and is a non-profit co-operative.
We are owned in three equal parts by retailers and other businesses, the property owners in the city centre and the City of Malm\u00f6,
Our overall mission is to further develop the city centre for the benefit of our members,

Malm\u00f6 Citysamverkan was formed to be a platform between private and public actors and to promote collaboration for the development of the common place.<\/p>

In addition, an organisation was needed that could create a brand for
Malm\u00f6 City, promote it and create content with other partners,
both in project form and more permanent actions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Activities are funded through the annual service fee, with one third each from the partners. There is also project funding and sponsorship and voluntary contributions from various associations and organisations that we choose to work with.<\/p>

Funding through EU projects or grants can also be part of the project economy. Every cent spent is an investment that pays back many times over in the form of activities, events, Christmas lights, etc.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Our geographical area of operation extends from the Central Station area in the north to the Triangle area in the south, and from Drottningtorget in the east to Davidshallstorg in the west. We work to densify within our area, but regularly redefine the boundaries as the city centre continues to grow and develop.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We work with partners both to make the city centre beautiful and functional, and to promote our shared place and its fantastic offer. This can mean anything from Christmas lights, neighbourhood development and cleaning projects to small and large physical events and various digital communication initiatives.<\/p>

Through the Malm\u00f6 City Gift Card, we offer private individuals and companies an appreciated and convenient gift, while benefiting the local business community. Malm\u00f6 City has won the \"City Centre of the Year\" competition four times, in 2010, 2005, 2000 and 2023! In 2000, 2005 and 2023 it won gold, and silver in 2010.<\/p>

In addition, there is a clear strategy for marketing, communication and building the city's brand.
