Bishops Arms Gustav Adolfs Torg, also known as Plaza Gustav, is located next to Elite Plaza Hotel on Gustav Adolfs Torg. The gastropub is a mix of restaurant and bar where the focus is on artisanal and carefully selected food and drink for all tastes. A place for those who like good food and drink in a solid and relaxed British pub environment.
The Bishop Arms on Gustav Adolfs torg is well known for our well-stocked whisky library with about 3-400 different bottlings, mainly Single Malt Whisky. We organise and host many tastings throughout the year and have, among other things, been awarded the prize by the Swedish Whisky Association for Whisky Pub of the Year 2012 and participated in the BBC documentary series Scotch - The story of Whisky 2017. In 2018, Biskopen Gustav became one of the SMWS (Scotch Malt Whisky Society) first partner bars in Sweden and the pub manager Maja Kozul Brand Ambassador for the same society. 2020, the pub was mentioned by the Washington Post as one of Malmö's musts when visiting the city.
Since 2015, we also have our own brewery in the basement below our pub. Minus-1, named after the lift floor, is home to a brewery collective of local talents who constantly supply the bar with new and unique beers on both draught and bottled.
We prepare our food from scratch using local ingredients. On the menu you'll find everything from classic pub dishes such as burgers and fish n' chips to smaller appetisers and tasty desserts, and of course you can always find vegetarian and vegan food and drink options. The menu is varied and changed several times a year according to the season.
