The vast majority of Norrgavel's furniture is made by selected carpenters in Småland, Skåne and the Baltic states. This makes transport shorter and reduces the environmental impact. The joineries stand for great craftsmanship and experience, often going back several generations.
A high level of craftsmanship is required, because even with the best machines, some things have to be done by hand. Starting to manufacture a new product for Norrgavel is a long-term commitment based on mutual trust. A sense of precision is crucial when choosing a new joinery.
Customers have plenty of choice with Norrgavels furniture. Production is customer order-driven, which means that each piece of furniture is made for a specific customer. We surface-treat and assemble the untreated furniture (or parts) ourselves in Lammhult, where the final quality control is also carried out. This customer-driven production means that Norrgavel's furniture usually has a delivery time of 6-12 weeks.
