It's been over three decades since Lars Vegas Trio's Christmas album Lars Christmas was released. The Christmas album has sold 150,000 copies and been streamed millions of times online. For many, it has become as much a part of Christmas as Donald Duck and the Christmas tree. Lars Vegas Trio's Christmas show is called Every Day is Christmas! The show mixes treats from Lars Christmas with old and new from the orchestra's 35 years on stage. A fast-paced show with the unique blend of humour and music that has become the trio's trademark.
"It feels like this is getting bigger and bigger every year," says conductor Lars Vegas, explaining that it is not unusual for there to be three generations in the auditorium, all of whom have the Christmas disc as a tradition.
