The most anticipated voice of winter is back. At the end of the year, Sarah Dawn Finer will embark on a tour to celebrate the 15th anniversary of her acclaimed album Winterland - an album that has become a tradition in many Swedish homes. The tour Winterland 15th Anniversary Tour is visiting 17 cities around the country and on 13 December it's Malmö and Slaghuset's turn!
It will be a long-awaited, warm and musical concert experience when Sarah, together with some of Sweden's foremost musicians; Göran Eriksson, Ola Hedén, Anders Hedlund and Thobias Gabrielson, performs songs from the Winterland disc and her beloved repertoire that belongs to the season.
Her own songs from the winter albums, but also her interpretations of Christmas classics as well as other personal interpretations with great genre breadth such as Prince, Ron Sexsmith, Jimi Mitchell and Tori Amos. Winterland, released on 3 November 2010, was an instant success and the 2010 Christmas concert on SVT. The album was awarded a gold disc and has since been followed by Swedish Winterland and Christmas singles and duets over the years.
Sarah has been praised by critics for her emotional interpretations and has become a modern classic among Swedish Christmas music. Welcome to an evening of fantastic live music, great humour, reflection, and hear one of Sweden's best voices and artists perform traditionally loved music and some new surprises - live on stage.
