On 24 September Janne Schaffer turns 80! He will celebrate this with a series of anniversary concerts. On 3 October he and his eminent band will visit Slagthuset with their show "My Music Story", welcome!
Janne Schaffer has been part of the Swedish music scene for over 50 years. He has performed on almost 5,000 songs and released 27 albums. He played on half of ABBA's recorded songs, including 'Waterloo', which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2024, and most of Ted Gärdestad's songs.
The concert My Music Story offers a journey that spans virtually the entire history of modern Swedish music. It is a breathtaking journey from the pop bands of the 60s, via ABBA and Ted Gärdestad to Björn J:son Lindh and the Electric Banana Band.
"I am so grateful that I can still be active as a soloist, songwriter and studio musician and I promised to offer lots of music along with both nice and fun memories", says Janne Schaffer.
