Grammy-nominated and critically acclaimed artist Moonica Mac is back on stage. This autumn she will be performing a few selected concerts in the Nordic countries, including a long-awaited stop in Malmö when she takes the stage at Slagthusets Teater on 17 October.
With her unique stage presence and skilful ability to write iconic and accurate lyrics, Moonica Mac has cemented her place as one of the most interesting voices in the Swedish music landscape. Through her music, she touches her listeners deeply over and over again and has left her mark on both large and small stages around the country.
In 2024, Moonica Mac has performed at the Polar Music Prize, as well as at sold-out tribute concerts for Peter LeMarc, Olle Adolphson and Marie Nilsson Lind / Ainbusk, at the Avicii Arena and Cirkus in Stockholm.
She has previously had great success in the lead role of Sheila in the musical HAIR at Göta Lejon, participated in Så mycket bättre, Allsång på Skansen, Victoriadagen and Grammisgalan, and collaborated with names such as Albin Lee Meldau, Benjamin Ingrosso, Tjuvjakt, Stor, Sara Parkman and Stuzzi.
"One of the best things I know is to let my tones live out live. I'm so looking forward to meeting my lovely audience during this small but oh so good autumn tour."
- Moonica Mac
The concert at Slagthusets Teater will be one of the few chances to experience one of Sweden's most moving artists live this autumn. Do not miss it!
