It all started with modest gigs in small pubs around England, but it wasn't long before the group took the world by storm with their playfulness, virtuosity and subtle humour. Against all odds, 'The Ukes' became unlikely superheroes to say the least as they toured the globe; from Australia to the North Pole, from Windsor Castle to Carnegie Hall.

On a more or less constant world tour, the orchestra delivers delightful entertainment with dry English humour and irresistible, swinging music. The group are masters of the unexpected in their quirky and brilliant interpretations of folk music, classical gems, rock and pop or, for that matter, their own compositions. None are like "The Ukes", not even close!

The voices of the press:

"The best musical entertainment in the country" - The Independent

"An oversized dose of unexpected hipness" - The New York Times

"A comedic musical powerhouse" - The Dartmouth

"Most people have to die before they become immortal. These ukulele superstars have no such worries." - New Musical Express

"Four-stranded happiness" "Brilliant" - UNT

"To be seen! And be heard!" - nummer.se

Presented by the Programme Guide and Kesselofski & Fiske.
