In 2022, Anders "Ankan" Johansson made a big hit with his solo debut "Alla känner Ankan". It was a hit for a year and a half, Borås Tidning described it as "the best stand-up show of the year" and Barometern named Ankan "among the most popular we have". In the autumn of 2025, Ankan returns to the stage with a newly written humour show. The new show has the slightly different title "It's the same donkey, just with a new saddle - A humour show by and with Anders "Ankan" Johansson" and is a joke show about how we never learn. Ankan thought we agreed that telling the truth, helping each other and being kind is a good thing, but apparently not. The jokes and mistakes come back. On 18 October, Ankan comes to Slagthuset in Malmö with his new show!
With over 20 years in the humour and media industry, Anders "Ankan" Johansson has become one of Sweden's most beloved comedians, including as one half of the popular comedy duo Anders & Måns. In 2020, Ankan was named Male Comedian of the Year at the gala "Det svenska humorpriset" and earlier this autumn he won the TV award Kristallen for his slightly different travel program "Rostiga roadtrips", which he made for SVT together with Valle Westesson. During the autumn, we have also been able to see him sail "Over the Atlantic" on Kanal 5. In "It's the same donkey, just with a new saddle - A humour show by and with Anders 'Ankan' Johansson", Ankan wants to take the audience on a new journey:
"It's the same donkey, just with a new saddle - is an Afghan proverb used to describe people who have earned a higher position than they deserve.
There is a lot that makes me happy, a lot that makes me wonder and a lot that makes me angry. It's like you're slowly being surprised. Didn't we agree that it's good to tell the truth, help each other and be kind? Apparently we never learn, the idiocy, the jokers and the mistakes come back. Who is rewarded and who is not? Old opinions, old mistakes, same old men, new suits. I like to joke about this.
This will be my second solo performance. I'm the same donkey - just with a new saddle. I hope you will come."
