Dogs in the city

It's a good thing there are dog-friendly restaurants, cafés and shops in Malmö's city centre, because it's nice that even furry family members can come along on adventures! Here we've gathered a number of watering holes and excursion destinations in the city centre that welcome both you and your dog.

Bishops Arms - Gustav Adolfs torg 49C & Norra Vallgatan 62

The pub is a mix of a restaurant and bar offering classic pub dishes such as burgers, fish n' chips and light meals.

Boulebar - Queen's Square

The old 19th-century riding school serves southern French bistro food from morning to evening. You can even combine food with a game of boules!

Bullen - Two restaurateurs - Storgatan 35

The restaurant offers options to suit everyone, from lunch eaters to dinner guests and after work regulars!

Brewdog -Balzarsgatan 25

Pub serving mainly craft beer, burgers and chicken wings. There is also a children's menu.

Haqvin - Östergatan 7b (St Gertrud)

International food in exciting combinations and cocktails. Dogs are welcome with a water bowl.

Hummusson Hummus Bar - triangles

Vegan food where the little chickpea takes centre stage. Here you can enjoy your hummus menu with your pet of choice.

Seafood is the restaurant's speciality. You can have brunch, lunch and dinner here.

Klang Market - Södra Tullgatan 4

Brunch, lunch and dinner or after-work.

Marie Antoinette - Queen's Square

Your dog is allowed on the outdoor terrace, and inside if it is ok for the neighbours.

MJ'S - Mäster Johansgatan 13

Both the hotel and the restaurant welcome dogs. A tip is to make a note to the restaurant when you book a table, so they can make room for your furry friend.

Moosehead - Lilla torg 1

The bar has a relaxed atmosphere, offering great music, good food and drinks. However, dogs are not allowed on the sofas.

The Social Bar & Bistro - Amiralsgatan 19

Restaurant in the centre of Malmö with an exciting selection of both drinks and classic dishes. Welcomes dogs inside.

San Greal - Östergatan 7B (St: Gertrud)

Champagne bar with small unusual dishes. Dogs allowed in the outside bar and on the heated outdoor terrace in the courtyard.

Spegeln Organic Bar & Bistro - Stortorget 29

Offers experiences and options for everyone, with or without a cinema ticket.

Housed in an old record shop, the café serves cakes, sandwiches, coffee and wine. The city's most sun-safe outdoor seating is also promised!

The Triangle welcomes dogs to pass through the centre. It is up to each shop/café/restaurant if they want to allow our four-legged friends inside. So we ask for respect for this. Man's best friend must always be on a lead and must not be left unattended.
