Following acclaimed tours and a rapidly growing fanbase worldwide, The Halo Effect are back with an extensive European tour in 2027. The Swedish metal favourites are set to make three eagerly awaited stops on home soil, including a concert at Slagthuset in Saluhallen on 18 February. What’s more, they’ll be joined by both Lacuna Coil and Omnium Gatherum!
The Halo Effect is a supergroup with its roots in the classic Gothenburg sound. The band was formed in 2019 by members known from In Flames and Dark Tranquillity, two of the most influential bands in melodic death metal.
Their debut album *Days of the Lost* (2022) became the first debut album by a metal band to go straight to number one on the Swedish album chart. The follow-up, *March of the Unheard* (2025), was another success and cemented the band’s position as one of Sweden’s most talked-about metal acts.
With their ability to capture the spirit of one of the death metal genre’s most acclaimed eras, whilst bringing a modern twist, The Halo Effect have established themselves as one of Sweden’s strongest metal acts. Don’t miss this Swedish metal favourite as they return to Malmö in spring 2027!
