About this website

Malmocity.se is run by Malmö Citysamverkan Service AB and is your guide to shopping, food, events and experiences in Malmö city centre. Here, we explain how the website works, how we handle your personal data and what we do to ensure that everyone can use it.

How the website is built

The website automatically adapts to your screen, so you can easily check opening hours or find an event straight from your mobile when you’re out and about. It works in the latest versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, and all data is transmitted via an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

The website has been developed using WordPress and is managed by Searchflow, which is responsible for technical operations, security updates and the website’s visibility in search engines.

Accessibility

The town centre is for everyone, and so should this website be. We are working to comply with the guidelines set out in WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

Links: Pages on malmocity.se open in the same tab. Links to other websites, such as event organisers, ticket sellers and our press room on Mynewsdesk, open in a new tab.

About the content

We compile information about shops, restaurants and events in collaboration with businesses in Malmö City and event organisers. The opening hours we show are the general opening hours for the city centre, and individual businesses may have different opening hours. If you are unsure, please contact the business or organiser directly.
