Following the success of “Mamma Ljuger”, which attracted 60,000 visitors to nearly 150 performances, Jan Bylund and Mattias Lundberg are back on stage with a new comedy show unlike anything else! In “Do I look fat in this? – Dad Lies Too”, they promise 90 minutes of non-stop laughter and moments of recognition, in which they pay a humorous tribute to the women in their lives and offer generous insights into everything we dare – and don’t dare – to say about relationships.
Bylund & Lundberg direct their sharp, northern Swedish humour at the brutal truth: that women are superior to men, whilst at the same time exposing the follies that men have been indulging in throughout the ages:
– Why do they have to have a barbecue at all costs?
– Why do men think they’re going to die as soon as they catch a cold?
– Why don’t they know their children’s teachers’ names, when they know Liverpool’s line-up from 1978?
All this and much more is explained in a comedy show that is a loving tribute to all the women who actually put up with the men in their lives.
“Do I look fat in this?” is a spot-on and heart-warming comedy that depicts life’s ups and downs. With great warmth, witty one-liners and raw honesty, it delivers a laugh-filled show covering everything from the little secrets of relationships to the big questions in life:
– Do you think she’s better-looking than me?
– If I died, would you remarry?
– Are you really going to wear those trousers?
The show also serves as a friendly reminder to you men that, even though you consider yourselves absolutely perfect, you wouldn’t be able to cope without your women. Sure, you can change a tyre and drill a shelf (with a bit of help from YouTube), but when it comes to finding your own socks, that’s suddenly a completely different story. After all, it’s your wife who reminds you that you’ve forgotten to switch off the light in the garage – again. So even if you might not always admit it out loud, we all know that it’s the women who are your invisible project managers, life coaches and GPS devices in everyday life.
Get ready for an evening full of laughter and insights. This is a show you won’t want to miss!
