The voice behind “Moonlight Shadow”, Maggie Reilly, is coming to Sweden in 2026, with Cutting Crew as special guests! On 24 November, they’ll be performing at Slagthusets Teater in Malmö.
For over four decades, Maggie Reilly has been one of the most distinctive voices in modern music. She is best known as the voice behind several of Mike Oldfield’s biggest hits, including the iconic 1980s classics “Moonlight Shadow”, “To France” and “Foreign Affair”.
In the 1990s, Maggie Reilly launched a successful solo career with the album *Echoes*, which featured the global hit “Everytime We Touch” as well as favourites such as “Wait” and “Tears in the Rain”. The audience can look forward to a concert experience filled with nostalgia, great melodies and a voice that remains as strong as ever. The set list naturally includes the iconic Mike Oldfield classics as well as Maggie Reilly’s own hits.
Cutting Crew will also be joining the tour as special guests. The band was formed in 1985 by Nick Van Eede and achieved international success with their debut album *Broadcast*, which featured the global hit ‘(I Just) Died in Your Arms’.
Nick Van Eede is currently on tour with his long-standing guitarist Gareth Moulton, performing the band’s biggest hits such as “I’ve Been in Love Before”, “Any Colour” and “One for the Mockingbird”.
It’s set to be an evening packed with timeless 80s classics and music that has become the soundtrack to an entire generation.
