The hit is back! As is tradition, Danish band Gasbox are returning to Slagthuset this autumn for a proper dance in the Saluhallen on 21 November!
Denmark’s finest and most authentic Kim Larsen impersonator, René Hejdmann, resembles Larsen in both voice and facial expressions in a way that makes you doubt both your eyes and your ears. In 2023, René Hejdmann was crowned the winner of the singing programme “Stjerneklar” on Denmark’s DR1.
There is no doubt that Kim Larsen was Denmark’s greatest and most beloved musician. For almost 50 years, Kim Larsen played and sang his way into the hearts of the Danish people – first with Gasolin’ in the 1970s, then as a solo artist in the 1980s, with Bell*Star in the 1990s and, for the last 24 years, with Kjukken. Kim Larsen is the artist who has played the most concerts on Danish soil, and his music lives on.
Gasbox play and sing, with great respect, the songs that have made Gasolin’ Denmark’s greatest rock band of all time and Kim Larsen one of the most beloved Danish artists ever. René Hejdmann is joined by his three highly skilled and professional musical companions: René Davidsen (lead guitar), Jan O. Thomassen (bass) and Rasmus Aamand (drums).
