Concert: The Aristocrats

After over a decade as one of the world's most original, entertaining and boundless instrumental bands in the rock-fusion genre, The Aristocrats finally return to Sweden! On 18 April, the trio - consisting of guitarist Guthrie Govan (Steven Wilson, Hans Zimmer, Asia/GPS), bassist Bryan Beller (Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Dethklok) and drummer Marco Minnemann (Steven Wilson, Joe Satriani, Steve Hackett) - will invite their fans in Malmö to a unique concert at Slagthusets Teater.

Since their first, impromptu gig at the NAMM show in Anaheim in 2011, The Aristocrats have earned a global reputation as a must-see live act - a musical adventure where rock meets jazz, pop, metal, country and everything in between. Their self-titled debut album, recorded in just eight days, was hailed by critics around the world and listed as a modern classic. Three more studio albums and several world tours followed, two of which made the Billboard Top 10 Jazz Chart (yes, jazz - in its own way).

The band is now ready to release their fifth and most ambitious studio album to date - "Duck" - a concept album about a web-footed inhabitant of an Antarctic island, who escapes from a penguin police all the way to New York where unexpected dangers await. "Duck" was released in spring 2024 and has been followed by tour dates in North America, South America, Asia and now finally Europe!

With their unique interplay, unexpected whimsy and Zappa-inspired twinkle in the eye, The Aristocrats continue to push the boundaries of what instrumental music can be. Don't miss the chance to experience these virtuoso musicians at their best when they return to Sweden in spring 2026.
