Get ready for a world-class nostalgia trip! The Animals, led by original drummer John Steel, are coming to Malmö for a concert at Slagthusets Teater on 13 April. Together with the brilliant Danny Handley (guitar/vocals), Norm Helm (bass) and Barney Williamson (keyboards), they invite the audience on a journey back in time to the 60s and their immortal treasure of songs.
Formed in 1962, The Animals quickly became one of the most influential groups of the British Wave. With their raw rhythm and blues-inspired rock, they left their mark on the music world and paved the way for generations of artists. Their breakthrough came with the iconic 'House of the Rising Sun', still considered one of the greatest songs in rock history.
Expect an evening filled with energy, fun, timeless musical nostalgia and a string of legendary hits like "House of the Rising Sun", "We Gotta Get Out of This Place", "It's My Life", "Boom Boom", "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood", "Bring It On Home to Me" - and many many more.
