Watch out for the doors - the doors are closing!

Yes, it could get crowded at the doors when the Öresund Metro "opens its doors" to the new Öresund link between Malmö and Copenhagen around 2035.

We will follow the planned route of the Öresund Metro on a guided walk on 7 May starting at 16.00 at the Riggaregatan/Einar Hansens Esplanad intersection where we will hear about the first metro station on

Malmö side. We continue to the second metro station at the intersection Stora Varvsgatan/Einar Hansens Esplanad ("Metropladsen").

We will finish at caffé Barreli overlooking the Metro Square. Here you can ask questions. Furthermore, some information about the importance of Varvsstaden and Nyhamnen for Malmö's economy. And something about Malmö University's activities and involvement.
