Emmy-nominated singer-songwriter Ben Folds is coming to Sweden in 2026 with his unique Paper Airplane Request Tour. The tour, which takes Ben Folds to Slaghuset in Malmö on 4 December, consists of two halves, with the audience themselves controlling the second half of the concert – using paper aeroplanes. Lindsey Kraft will be the support act for the evening.
Ben Folds is a multifaceted songwriter and pianist whose career moves effortlessly between pop, classical music, film, television and theatre. He made his breakthrough with Ben Folds Five and has since created a genre-defying musical universe, ranging from acclaimed solo albums and prestigious collaborations to a much-talked-about Christmas album.
The concert as part of the Paper Airplane Request Tour consists of two acts. The first half features a carefully curated set in which Folds performs a meticulously compiled set list. In the second half, he will perform songs requested by the audience via paper aeroplanes that they send up onto the stage.
