The legendary Norwegian band Kaizers Orchestra are back in Sweden for three concerts! On 22 October, they’ll be in Malmö for a gig at Slagthusets Saluhall! They’ll also be joined by the powerhouse act Diskopunk as their support act!

Kaizers Orchestra burst onto the scene 25 years ago with their groundbreaking debut album *Ompa til du dør*. By blending rock, cabaret and Eastern European influences, they embarked on a unique musical journey that captivated audiences in their home country of Norway.
Little did we know that Sweden, too, would be swept up by this unique rock phenomenon from our neighbouring country. Slowly but surely, Kaizers Orchestra made their mark on the Swedish music scene, and ever since, the music capital in the west has been a natural and much-loved destination for the band.
With a unique line-up comprising an oil drum, a pedal organ, a double bass and electric guitars, Kaizers Orchestra is an unrivalled rock ’n’ roll powerhouse. The charismatic frontman Janove Ottesen leads the band with explosive energy and a theatrical universe filled with fascinating characters.
From the album *Evig Pint* (2003) to the ambitious “Violeta Violeta” trilogy (2010–2012), Kaizers Orchestra continued to push the boundaries of music whilst delivering unforgettable live performances. Following an emotional farewell tour in 2013, many believed the saga was over. But true legends never die – and in 2023, Kaizers Orchestra made their long-awaited comeback.
The European tour culminates with three concerts in Sweden, and the band is looking forward to celebrating their rich and influential back catalogue together with their Swedish friends.
