The Watch plays Genesis are returning to Sweden following their hugely successful debut tour in 2025 with *Tales from 1970–1976*. This time, the tour will also stop in Malmö for a concert at Slagthusets Teater on 14 October!
The Watch are back to take you on a vibrant musical journey into Genesis’s legendary era of 1970–1976, the years that defined progressive rock. With their unmistakable attention to detail and a sound that authentically reflects the Peter Gabriel era, The Watch bring Genesis’s classic albums and iconic moments to life.
This is a powerful live experience for both long-standing fans and new listeners keen to rediscover this outstanding chapter in music. The set list draws from *Trespass* (1970), *Nursery Cryme* (1971), ‘Foxtrot’ (1972), ‘Selling England by the Pound’ (1973) and the double concept album ‘The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway’.
The dramatic, Gabriel-esque vocals of The Watch’s singer – widely regarded as the artist who comes closest to Peter Gabriel – combined with the band’s versatile instrumental skill, give the audience the chance to experience all the magnificent tracks from one of rock history’s most acclaimed concept albums, just as they sounded back then.
No other band manages to capture Genesis’s sense of adventure and electric energy from their pioneering years with the same raw feel. Close your eyes – and you’re back in the seventies.
