It has almost become a tradition for Thorbjørn Risager & The Black Tornado to take to the stage at Slagthuset and warm the hearts of Malmö’s residents. Now the Danish blues-rockers are ready to take the audience by storm once again; this time, it will be a seated concert at Teatern on 11 December.
As always, you can expect an evening bursting with energy, the joy of performing and genuine emotion. Thorbjørn Risager’s powerful voice, combined with the band’s tight and dynamic interplay, creates an atmosphere that resonates deep within you. The line-up features a soulful mix of blues, rock and soul – delivered with both power and verve.
Their latest album, *House of Sticks*, released last year, was widely acclaimed for its spot-on blend of blues, boogie and roots rock. With energetic arrangements, a swinging drive and Risager’s versatile voice, the album is described as one of the highlights of the band’s career – featuring everything from swagger-filled boogie to soulful ballads.
