Tennessee Tears – The Ashes & Embers Tour

TENNESSEE TEARS are coming to the Palladium on 15 October! Following their success in Melodifestivalen and sold-out tours, they’re now back with their new album, *Ashes & Embers*. One of Sweden’s hottest country acts is coming to Malmö with their powerful Nashville sound. Expect an evening full of emotion, energy and powerful songs.

In early 2023, Tennessee Tears made their debut at Melodifestivalen with “Now I Know”. They immediately won over the Swedish public, and that autumn the duo embarked on a sold-out tour of Sweden with the concert collective Under One Roof, alongside Chris Kläfford. 

Tennessee Tears, comprising Tilda Feuk and Jonas Hermansson, are a Swedish country duo. It all began with a songwriting collaboration with Billy Burnette (Fleetwood Mac) in Nashville, and they have since returned there several times to both write and record music.

The duo have collaborated with musicians including Dave Roe (Johnny Cash), Michael Rhodes (Emmylou Harris, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum) and Ben Sesar (Brad Paisley), and have been praised by Billy Burnette, who says: “This marriage between Nashville and Sweden is going to be a real eye-opener for people.” 

This autumn, they’re setting off on “The Ashes & Embers Tour” to mark the release of their new album, *Ashes & Embers*. 

The album *Ashes & Embers* was recorded and mixed in Nashville, the heart of country music. The album was produced by Tennessee Tears themselves, together with André Kristiansson, and captures the raw, honest energy that has become their trademark – where modern Nashville influences meet Nordic storytelling

 – For us, this album is a rebirth, hence the name ‘Ashes & Embers’. We feel that we’re daring to explore new territory whilst at the same time finding our way back to our roots, where we first began. The album is exactly what we want our music to be – a journey that captures the essence of modern Nashville country with a Nordic twist.
