This is the Malmö City Gift Card
A debit card that can be loaded with any amount from 100 - 5000 SEK. It is valid at over 400 locations in the city centre, including most of the businesses in the City GalleriesHansa, Caroli,Triangelnand onMalmö Market HallandMalmö Central Station.
How do I buy a Malmö City Gift Card?
You can buy the Malmö City Gift Card at Triangeln (one machine at Clas Ohlson and another machine at Kappahl) or at Saluhallen, at all Pressbyrån in Malmö or here in our online shop.
Can I buy a Malmö City Gift Card with cash?
No, you can't. In our webshop, payment is made by invoice or bank card, in other cases you pay by payment card.
What about returns/repurchases?
If the Malmö City Gift Card is used to purchase an item and then returned or repurchased, it is always the receipt of the relevant business that applies, not a refund in cash or deposit on a card.
How long is my gift voucher valid?
The guaranteed validity period is 12 months from the date of purchase. You can check the validity period and balance by clicking oncheck balanceor by calling consumer support on: 08 - 22 50 30
Does the whole amount have to be used in one place?
The gift voucher can be used several times, in different places, until the amount has been used up.
Why does it not work?
Do you have money on your card?
Check balance onwww.getmybalance.comor call08 - 22 50 30. Organisations cannot see what your balance is.
Does the organisation accept the card?
You can find all the organisations that accept the card under "Where the gift card applies" in the Gift card menu.
Have you received a Malmö City gift voucher as a gift?
Sometimes you will have to wait a few days after receiving your gift voucher as your gift voucher needs to be activated, which happens once the invoice has been paid.
Does the cashier not know how the gift voucher works?
Purchases are made as usual, our card works just like other payment cards and should not be treated differently in any way. Please contact us if you encounter any problems so we can inform the organisation.
Is there a problem with the magnetic strip?
If you get no reaction at all from the payment terminal when you swipe your card for payment, it may be demagnetised. In this case, you need to contact us immediately.
How do I pay with the gift voucher?
Malmö City Gift Card is a payment card with a magnetic strip that you swipe in the store's card machine. Then you enter your code. Code = the last four digits of the card number which is written on the back of the card (not the security code). It is also possible to pay by signature purchase.
My gift voucher has expired, can I renew it?
No, it is not possible to renew a gift voucher that has expired.
Can I shop online?
No, it is not possible to shop online with the Malmö City Gift Card.
Can my Malmö City Gift Card be exchanged for cash?
No, the gift voucher cannot be exchanged for cash.
I have lost my gift voucher, what should I do?
Lost gift vouchers are not refundable. Gift vouchers cannot be traced back to the recipient.
